All Queued-up!
I’ve just gotten my Ravelry all queued up to get me through a good chunk of the new year! My goal is to knit from stash unless I have a certain project in mind for which I need to purchase a specific yarn. …May the yarn gods be merciful at the quickly approaching Stitches West.

Christmas Scarves
This is one of the scarves I’ve been making for the beautiful ladies in my life. (This one I decided to keep for yours truly.) The pattern is Loopy Crochet Scarf and the yarn is Trendsetter Frivola. This scarf is WAY simple and takes only about 15 minutes to complete. Can’t beat that! Merry Christmas, everyone!! Be merry and bright!

Pattern for Fox Scarf →
At last! There is a pattern for a fox scarf very similar to Anthropologie’s “Shrewd Fox Stole,” which I posted a few weeks back. Thank you to Doreen Bailey!

100% Pure →
I am in like with this brand of toiletries & cosmetics. I have sensitive, allergy prone skin, and the closer I can get to all-natural, the better results I seem to have. They just opened a store in Santana Row, and I have already found myself there several times. Burt’s Bees is my staple, but it is nice to have an alternative. We shall see if it turns into love. ♥

Shades of Christmas
This is what Christmas looks like in California. We are celebrating our sixth holiday season here, and I’m still not quite used to it. It looks more like a beautiful autumn day back where I come from. Fall is my favorite season, so I’m not entirely opposed to this strange scene while shopping for my Christmas tree. Hubby sizing them up In fact, I think there is something quite...

Christmas or a Speeding Train?
There are two weeks left until Christmas. Really?? One of the problems with being an East Coaster living in California is that you miss those seasonal queues that let you  know what time of year it really is. 2010 truly has been a blur, and it looks like it’s going to go out in one as well. We haven’t even put up our tree yet but do plan on remedying that tomorrow. I’ve had so...

Organizing
I’m proud to say that I finally got all of my knitting patterns put into plastic sleeves and a 3-ring binder last night. Now I just need to clean up my Ravelry “favorites” (now, approaching 600) and find a new way to store yarn. My current storage method is filled to the brim, and it is certainly not the most suited way to maintain a stash of fibery goodness. (I’ve...
