Aspiring to Domestic Goddesshood

Well, I was using Tumblr but am now back to Blogger. Boy, I wish I could make up my mind! Maybe I’ll learn to be less flighty with the new responsibility of being a mom. …Holy crap, I’m a MOM!

I’ve decided to be a SAHM for at least a year and am working on getting my days organized. First on the list is getting the apartment cleaned up. I am finding this to be no small task with a little one who uses his cute, tiny face and ever surprising vocalizations to make me pay attention to him.

I’m currently deriving some motivation from the show House Hunters International, which features many tidy European homes with room comparable to my own. Europeans sure know how to utilize space. If they can do it, so can I.

So, here’s to simplifying, streamlining, and throwing out a bunch of crap!
